About the Foundation
The Missing Piece Foundation is a non-profit foundation created by the family of Thomas "T.J." McMillan. T.J. was an extraordinary young man who was killed in a car accident on November 2, 2018 at the age of 22. He was a month shy of graduating with a degree in Applied Sciences, Simulation and Game Design at Cecil College. T.J. was a 2015 graduate of Rising Sun High School and lived in Conowingo, Maryland his whole life. He was a faithful and involved member of Conowingo Baptist Church, involved in many clubs at Cecil College and was active in the community. T.J. struggled for most of his life for all of his achievements as he was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 2. In his late teen years he became passionate about using his disability as an ability to reach others for Christ and felt that Christ is the missing piece that most people are searching for. He witnessed to everyone he came in contact with. He had a hold faith and extreme courage when it came to overcoming fears to reach others through Christ.
It is the mission and desire of this foundation to continue T.J.'s legacy. We want to raise money for the foundation that can be used for scholarships for local students to continue their education, help spread the gospel through community events and to raise money for the purpose of assisting Conowingo Baptist Church to build an Outreach Center in T.J.'s memory.
